Student Organizations

At the University of Montevallo, there are over 90 student organizations…providing opportunities for every interest.

A college education starts in the classroom, but the opportunities you seek out in your spare time can complement your academics, providing leadership experience and resume building opportunities. Whether you’re looking to further your passion for a particular area of academic study or you’d like to pursue an interest in athletics, politics, the arts, the environment, service learning or anything else you can imagine, there’s an organization on campus that’ll take you there. The best part is that involvement in student organizations is fun!

Following admission to the University, visit FalconLink using your UM username and password to find everything you need to become involved as a UM student! You can apply for leadership positions, see what is happening and vote in SGA Elections.

If you don’t see an organization that interests you, and you would like to start a new student organization, the Student Life Office will be glad to assist you!
